Excellent food! Fantastic service! We had a great time at Orchard Hall this evening. Around our table we ordered prime rib, chicken riggies, turkey, eggplant parm, and chicken tenders. Pur waitress was very friendly and the bartender made you feel right at home. We will come back again!
Thanksgiving buffet was excellent. Service was great! If you don't want to cook for thanksgiving come here. They have it all.
The remodeled dining room looks so nice, and the new patio for outdoor dining is a great addition. We go regularly for the Friday night Fish Fry with mac & cheese, and usually get the soup and salad bar as well. (For $3 you get unlimited soup and salad for less than most places charge for a single cup of soup.) We also enjoy the All You Can Eat Spaghetti on Tuesday's. It's a family friendly restaurant and the staff is always cheerful.
Orchard Hall is a friendly and inviting restaurant with excellent traditional homestyle meals. There is something for everyone's taste. The Friday night fish is a favorite and it can be cooked broiled, baked, Cajun, fried, or my favorite Francaise. They have an excellent soup and salad bar included with most dinners. Many remodels have been completed and others are ongoing. The new dining room is a warm modern and airy treat. The bar is not noisy or distracting from the charm of this lovely old historic building.
Went there on a Friday night for haddock.......really good fried haddock, for $3 more got the salad bar and soup. Fish came with a choice of potato or pasta. My husband got it with a baked potato, our friend had it with spaghetti and sauce; I had the fried haddock with spaghetti and butter and garlic. Our friend's wife had a seafood stew over pasta. We all left with boxes! We drove a little over 45 miles to come there. It was worth the trip. Got to drive along historic Route 5. Am definitely coming back again with other friends. Loved the old building and the history behind it. Another plus for Central New York!
